Save the Date: Taster Liturgy at Foodheads

On Sunday, August 25 we will host our second ever Taster Liturgy. These opportunities allow us to learn the ins-and-outs of hosting a weekly liturgy. They also provide a great opportunity to introduce friends to what’s happening at Austin Mustard Seed.
We need your help as we explore how to host a weekly gathering. During our time together, we will share a sacred meal called Eucharist, learn from the scriptures, pray together and sing songs of praise.
The word “liturgy” is key. It’s a Latin word that means “the work of the people.” This time will be an opportunity for each person use his or her gifts to serve each other and

We are also inspired by our friends at Vox Veniae. They combine the homegrown sounds of local musicians, with world-class coffee, original artwork and ancient spiritual practices for a uniquely “Austin” approach to Liturgy.
