This Sunday: Presence

November 12th, 2013 | John Chandler

This week wraps up a look at our Markers in Sunday liturgy. Our markers are a starting point for shared understandings, for a common view of how we see life and do it together.

The final marker, which we will talk about Sunday, is Presence, and here’s how we describe it:

We are an active community. As a church community, we are the presence of God in the world today. God is continually moving into the brokenness of this created world, and so do we. Compelled by God’s love, we partner with the resurrected Christ to recover the beauty, renewal, and justice that our broken world longs to see. We pray that we will be able to help God’s will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.

As we do every week, we will gather at 10:30am on Sunday at the Northwest Rec Center (2913 Northland Dr, Austin, TX 78757).  7500 Woodrow Ave. (the home of Liveoak Bible Church.)

See you then!
