Tomorrow: Ronald McDonald House

January 13th, 2014 | John Chandler

Tomorrow afternoon, we will be helping prepare a meal for the families of the Ronald McDonald House. They describe their services this way:

When a child is diagnosed with a serious illness, families face emotional distress, financial strains and many other devastating consequences. In addition to attending to the complicated medical needs of their children, families struggle to remain together, maintain their jobs, care for other children or family members, keep up with medical and out-of-pocket expenses, and address the psychosocial effects on their children. At RMHC Austin, we are helping families face the burden of childhood illness together.  (via http://www.rmhc-austin.org)

Please arrive at 4:30 pm at 1315 Barbara Jordan Boulevard. If you can’t make it in time for to help prepare, we hope you’ll still join us for dinner at Tino’s Greek Cafe for dinner at 6:15pm.
