Family Meeting // March 30
March 20th, 2014 | John Chandler
The little phrase “family meeting” might stir all kinds of responses among us. It might make you think of a painful time that came with bad news, or it might remind you of the fun of planning a vacation. We don’t have bad news, and we aren’t planning a church vacation, but next Sunday, March 30, we are going to have a family meeting of our own.
This will be an open meeting to anyone who is a regular participant in the life of Austin Mustard Seed. We will celebrate what has happened in the last six months, talk about our partnerships outside that have helped us form, and dream and pray about what we want to become. There will also be time for Q&A. It’s a small, but important step, as we start to develop our own internal conversations and discernment about the life of our community.
We will gather at 7pm in the home of the Allen’s — 4010 Cima Serena Dr. #A, Austin. The Allen’s home is cozy, and there will be no formal childcare during our time together. Please consider other options for childcare and bring something that will keep your child(ren) engaged during our time together.
