Speaking of Practice Resurrection

May 8th, 2014 | John Chandler

On Easter morning, we introduced our current series titled Practice Resurrection. This simple phrase, originally from Wendell Berry, was used by Eugene Peterson as the title for his book about Paul’s letter to the Ephesians. Since we’re working our way through this same letter to the Ephesians, and since we like Eugene Peterson (and Wendell Berry!), and since we really like resurrection, we apprehended the title for our own use.

Proper credit ascribed, I thought it was worth another mention of Eugene Peterson’s book Practice Resurrection. If you are the reading type, you’ll find this book a worthwhile companion as we journey through Ephesians together. And, along the way, you might find that the title isn’t the only thought about Ephesians we’ve borrowed.
