What’s your name?
Chris Morton
What’s your favorite dish to cook?
Probably grilling burgers. It’s basically a meatloaf-style, a lot diced tasty items diced up in the patty and dripping with greasy goodness.
Where is the most exciting place you have traveled?
I loved Uganda. East Africa was full of rolling hills, lush vegetation and smiling faces. I hope to go back someday.
What is the most influential book you have ever read? Why?
One of my favorite books, after the Bible ;), is M. Scott Peck’s The Road Less Traveled. The book helped me recognize that life and love are by nature very difficult, and that’s okay.
Where did you grow up?
Aurora, Colorado, a suburb of Denver.
What is your day job?
I’m a Freelance Content & Social Media Strategist and writer. I also serve as the Community Developer for Austin Mustard Seed.
Why do you follow Jesus?
The story of Jesus convinces me that he is God. I also believe that if people followed the way of life that he taught, the world would be a peaceful and loving place.
What is one thing you love about Austin Mustard Seed?
I love that our community genuinely want to be around each other. Since day one, we’ve had people loaning out their cars, babysitting children and throwing parties. It feels like we’re in this together.
