This Sunday: APEST

This Sunday, we’re going to talk about an acronym that nerdy church leaders like me like to toss around: APEST. It comes from our passage in Ephesians for this week:
And he gave the Apostles, the Prophets, the Evangelists, the Shepherds and Teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ…
Paul wrote about five different voices that need to be heard in the church, which I took some liberties with above to help you see the acronym. This Sunday, we’ll talk about these voices, why they matter, and how they need to be present in the life of Austin Mustard Seed.
We gather weekly for liturgy at 10:30am on Sunday at 7500 Woodrow Avenue (in the building of Liveoak Bible Church). Come and practice resurrection with us.
