This Sunday: what Life looks like

July 31st, 2014 | John Chandler

practice-resurrection

On Sunday, Chris Morton worked us through the last half of Ephesians 4, and a week from Sunday, Ashley Blackwell is going to take on the first half of Ephesians 5. Both of these sections are full of Paul’s bullet points for how we should live if the things he says in the beginning of this letter to an ancient church are true.

This Sunday, John is going to span the whole thing. What Paul writes here is similar to writings of others at the time. But a few things are unique, and we’ll focus in on a few of these key phrases. Paul seems to be inviting us to consider these questions: What does Life, the capital L kind, look like? What does it mean to inherit and live within the ‘kingdom of Christ and of God’?

We will do the ‘work of the people’ 10:30am on Sunday at 7500 Woodrow Avenue (in the building of Liveoak Bible Church). Come consider what it means to practice resurrection with us.
