This Sunday: Mission

We’re in our final weeks of our Sacred Time series. As we wind down, we’re considering areas where as followers of Jesus we should be intentional with our time. This past week, I talked about Formation, paying attention to who we are becoming. And as I mentioned at the end, as we allow God to form us, it will guide us into joining God’s mission toward the world.
The nature of God and the ongoing story we see in Scripture is of God moving into places that are in need of redemption. If we are to recognize that time is a sacred reality, than we too will join God in this movement toward the broken people and systems in our neighborhoods and world.
