Important Instructions for Marathon Sunday
February 10th, 2015 | John Chandler
Coffee. Games. Neighbors.
On Sunday February 15, thousands of marathoners will be running down the street adjacent to our meeting place, during our normal liturgy time.
Our neighbors will be lining the streets to cheer for the racers.
Let’s have coffee and play yard games.
Here’s how you can help:
- Sign up for a shift to help make coffee or hang out at our sign-making table. Shifts begin at 8:30am and last for 45 minutes.
- Sign up to bring a yard game we can play with our neighbors, such as bocce ball, corn hole, etc.
Parking
Take a look at the Marathon Map and make sure you adjust your route accordingly.
We won’t have access to the Liveoak parking lot, so consider parking on Aggie Lane or Richcreek Rd. The race goes right down Woodrow, so you can park on either side depending on which direction you’ll be coming from.
Traffic wasn’t much of a hassle last year, but give yourself plenty of time to get there just in case.
See you Sunday!
