This Sunday: Anger
June 29th, 2015 | John Chandler
We’ve spent our first month in the Sermon on the Mount considering Jesus’ broad stroke descriptions of what it means to live within the Kingdom of God. In the coming weeks, we’ll see how Jesus moves on to some examples of how it looks in the day to day.
This week, Jesus turns the conversation toward anger and so will we. In it, we will find a time to question how anger drives us toward both destructive and good things. Let’s imagine together how the way we engage our own anger might be disruptive, or inviting, to the what God is working toward in our world.
We gather for Liturgy every Sunday at 10:30am. You are welcome to join us at Brentwood Elementary School (6700 Arroyo Seco). (Park in the back off of Yates Ave.) All are welcome.
