This Saturday: Spiritual Formation Workshop!

We all want to grow to be more like Jesus.
But do we have a plan for how to get there?
Spiritual formation is a process, but we often treat it like a collection of random moments rather than a life-long process of partnering with the Holy Spirit that we can intentionally engage with.
This Saturday, we’ll host Bob Hyatt, the founding pastor of Evergreen Community in Portland, Oregon and the Director of Equipping and Spiritual Formation for the Ecclesia Network.
Bob describes the workshop this way: “Our time together will provide not only various lenses through which to see how God is always at work in our lives to grow us, but how we can intentionally co-operate in that process.
Further, we’ll have times to move beyond the general theory/learning, and allow individuals/groups of leaders to use what we will be given during the time to work through specific challenges they are facing right now, asking and answering the question “What might God be forming in me/us through this?” and “How should we respond?”
The workshop will take place this Saturday from 9am-2pm at 3811 Harmon Ave. The event has no cost, but donations will be accepted for lunch. Please RSVP so we can make sure to order enough food.
