Men's Night is Wednesday!
June 6th, 2016 | John Chandler
The summer is upon us, and we couldn’t be more excited. Our first Men’s Story Night is Wednesday at 6:30pm, at the home of Shaun McCormick (3006 Stoneway).
We’ll do two things at Men’s Story Night:
- Eat Fajitas
- Listen to each other
About Fajitas
Shaun will have the grill fired up, but we need to bring the fajita makings! Please email Chris and let us know what you can bring. We need:
- Protein (Chicken, Steak or Surprise Us)
- Tortillas
- Toppings (Lettuce, pico, etc.)
- Plates/Cups/Plasticwares
- Drinks
- Chips
- Salsa
- Guacamole
- Dessert
About Story Night
Story Night is a chance for one person to share a story, and for the rest of us to practice listening. This is a sacred space where we grow closer, and where we learn to hear the guidance of God’s Spirit.
Two storytellers are needed to share about a recent or powerful moment in their lives that they are still processing. You can read a one page description of how the storytelling works here. Please let Chris know if you’d like to participate.
