Our final Men’s Story Night of 2016 is just a few days a will return! Our next shindig is Wednesday, August 3 at 6:30pm, at the home of Kevin Baker (6503 Guadalupe St).

We’ll do two things at Men’s Story Night:

About Spud Night

We’re eating meat and potatoes! Kevin will have the grill fired up, but we’ll provide some Spuds!

Some possibilities include:

  • Steak
  • Sausage
  • Bacon
  • Broccoli and Cheese soup
  • Butter
  • Sour Cream/Greek Yogurt
  • Chives
  • Salad
  • Drinks

Refresher About Story Night

Story Night is a chance for one person to share a story, and for the rest of us to practice listening. This is a sacred space where we grow closer, and where we learn to hear the guidance of God’s Spirit.

This video explains what we mean when we’re describing “storytelling.” I’ve also attached a one page description of how the storytelling works.

Two storytellers are needed to share about a recent or powerful moment in their lives that they are still processing. Please email Chris Morton ASAP if you can participate.

See you Wednesday!
