What Are You Doing With Your Life?
September 13th, 2016 | John Chandler
Every man has a vocation to be someone: but he must understand clearly that in order to fulfill this vocation he can only be one person: himself.
–Thomas Merton
This Saturday, the vocation workshop will use scripture and state-of-the-art tools to help you learn:
- Your unique strengths
- You unique personality type
- Specific ways God is at work all around us
- Specific moments in the past you were at your best
- Steps to living more in line with your unique vocation every day
Here’s what you need to know:
Time: Saturday, September 17, from 9am-3pm
Location: Austin Baptist Association at 3811 Harmon Ave.
Lunch: Will be provided and donations to cover the cost will be accepted. Please RSVP on Facebook or reply to this email so we know how much food to order.
Childcare: We are working on an option to have childcare available at a shared cost of $15 per child, or $25 per family. Please let us know ASAP if that would be helpful in order for you to attend.
One more thing you need to do:
We are strongly encouraging all participants to take a Strengths Finder assessment prior to Saturday as part of our learning together. It will require about 45 minutes to take.
We have a limited number that have been donated, so please reply if you would like one and we will send you the code.
Once those are gone, we can get a group rate on these of $10 apiece. We have added a line item on the Giving page so that you purchase one. Please purchase yours prior to Wednesday evening so that we can get the codes and pass them along with time for everyone to complete the assessment.
