Wednesday: Women’s Story Night
June 26th, 2017 | John Chandler
The summer is upon us and that means Story Nights!
Our first Women’s Story Night is Wednesday at 6:30pm, at the home of Melissa Summers. (For address and information, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.)
We’ll do two things at Women’s Story Night:
- Eat Food—Bring a charcuterie style snack to share
- Learn to Listen to each other and God’s Spirit—More here
How Story Night Works
Story Night is a chance for one person to share a story, and for the rest of us to practice listening. This is a sacred space where we grow closer, and where we learn to hear the guidance of God’s Spirit.
Two storytellers are needed to share about a recent or powerful moment in their lives that they are still processing. You can read a one page description of how the storytelling works here. Please email us and let us know if you’d like to participate.
