Sermon (2018.10.29) Mark 10:46-52
October 30th, 2018 | Daniel Read
April Karli asked us to consider why we sometimes don’t want to express our desires. The things we long for are often deeply buried inside us, and there are a number of reasons we are afraid to admit them. But Jesus invites is to come to him with our longings. Can we learn to trust Jesus to meet our deepest desires?
“Jesus is a teacher who doesn’t just inform our intellect but forms our very loves. He isn’t content to simply deposit new ideas into your mind; he is after nothing less than your wants, your loves, your longings.”
