Sermon – 2/27/2022 – The Transfiguration & Ukraine

On Transfiguration Sunday we explored Jesus’s Transfiguration and what the unique revelation of Jesus’s identity means for us during times of global conflict and war. Former missionaries to Russia, Chris and Anya Gandy, shared their thoughts on the situation in Ukraine and Russia with us as well. Anya is Russian and the Gandys have family and friends in both Russia and Ukraine. Their perspective invited our community into a meaningful time of prayer for all who are directly involved.
